I Took Time Off — Here’s What God Did
For the last 6 months I have been mostly silent on this blog and on social media.
I didn’t plan a long break. God led me into one. The plans I had for ministry, writing, and visible work collapsed into something much smaller and quieter. In that reduction, He dealt with me deeply — exposing areas of drift I had tolerated, confronting my pride, and teaching me again that there is no neutral ground.
Out of that season came the book No Neutral Ground: Confronting Evil, Ending Drift, and Carrying the Light.
This is not a book I wrote to make people feel inspired or thoughtful. It is the fruit of a confrontation between God and me. At its core is a truth I can no longer avoid: Jesus is the Light of the world, and every person is either following Him on the narrow road that leads to life or remaining on the wide road that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13–14).
There is no safe middle. Drift is not harmless. Satan is real and hates what God loves. Souls — including the people closest to us — are in real danger.
I have also released a companion Field Manual — simple, practical help for staying close to Jesus, resisting drift, returning quickly when you fall, and carrying His Light into your home, your words, and your daily choices.
Both are now available as free downloads on my website: CatholicsSharingJesus.org – No Neutral Ground Series
I will not be returning to the old rhythm of frequent posts and videos. From here on, I expect to write and share only when the Lord clearly moves me, and with urgency, honesty, and a focus on Jesus, not on self-improvement or comfort.
I invite you to read the book. If God stirs you, take action. Get the Field Manual. Return to prayer. Return to Scripture. Return to the Mass and confession. Forgive. Pray for those entrusted to you. Carry the Light of Jesus.
There is no neutral ground. This is war. Jesus has already won the victory. Now walk in the Light.
